Cell Phones

I know everyone gripes about people on their phones while driving. But what about the people who talk so loudly on the phone that you can't carry on a conversation with the person with you? I have been around women yelling at their kids over the phone but the worst is the person having an personal conversation with their wife/girlfriend ect. Your forced to listen to the crap or leave. Imagine being stuck in an elevator or being on your short break at work and hearing" oh baby you know I love you!" I just want to yell "That's not what you told me last night!"
Do people not care that you can hear every little detail of their conversation? As a friend of mine used to say "They can't help it, they weren't home trained". Thank you mom for home training me!

History

I am doing some research on my family history. I love to explore the past and find where my ancestors are from. Too many people are more interested in the here and now and don't bother to find out where they are from.
My future daughter-in-law is very into the past, she will make a great historian soon. I get a kick out of watching her light up over architecture, and archeological digs. The girls got a brain!
My oldest son is very into cooking, he's darn good at it too. It would be funny to see her find ancient
recipes and he try to fix them! LOL
Seriously, he has a degree in writing and I think he could combine the two and create a cookbook for guys.
My youngest is working toward a degree in Web design. He's very creative, not sure where he gets that from. Must be some artists somewhere in the past family history.
What I have found are farmers, judges, preachers and even a few Lady's and Earls. Lots of soldiers and some not so nice people. They are Irish, Scot, German, English and Dutch. So look into your past, or better yet look into a mirror. Your past will be looking back at you.

Bumper stickers

I was behind a truck at Mc Donalds today. The line was long so I started reading the bumper stickers on the truck in front of me. Lets just say the owner was Pro Life and Anti Obama in a BIG way. One or two stickers would have put his point across but he had eight to ten stuck all over his bumper and back window. His stickers stated that Obama was a baby killer and was soft on terrorists. Also if Obama was the answer then you just asked a stupid question, also if you voted for him you were an asshole. Then he went on to state that he would give your President the same respect you would give to his. Apparently not. I wouldn't state those things about Senator McKain. I'm not sure where he stands on the issue of abortion or terrorists, but if he were President I would support him in the same manner I would any other President. The election process makes sure that you have a chance to vote for your candidate. Apparently the winner of the election was not the one this person wanted. Oh well, better luck next time.
